Originally we planned on going to Colorado and following the mountains all the way to Montana but Colorado fires made us change our plans a bit. Now we will be going to the Black Hills in South Dakota, Yellowstone in Wyoming, Glacier National Park in Montana and possibly if time allows, Banff Canada.

I hope to keep blog updated daily when our trip starts.

Had a great weekend. Went on a 4 hour canoe trip and the weather was phenomenal.

Night time picture below from Eagle Cliff campground.

Our first stay in the new to us camper. Everything went well except for some rain which can almost be expected on this holiday weekend.

We wanted to do some camping and long distance trips and wanted a fairly small, economical rig.  Below is picture of what we found to fit our needs. RV is fully equipped with bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, stove, furnace, AC, awning and a generator. Great vehicle for 2 but will sleep 4 with sofa bed.

Camper is built on a 2000 GMC Sierra chassis. 22,000 miles when we purchased. Should last us a long time.
